Any brahs that have travelled from Canada here?

What do with the mandatory $2000 hotel quarantine and $200 pcr testing? I'm travelling in May and no way am I paying an extra $2200 for this.

Aware me on the loopholes please

Yes I am. So it's that simple? Except for outbound I'm required to show a negative pcr-test in order to board the flight and they charge you $200 for those. There's no getting around that one, is there?

No you need to get the outbound. When you land in Canada there will be Canadian public health officials telling you that you need a test and to go to the hotels. State that under section 14.1 of the quarantine act you are refusing.

“14 (1) Any qualified person authorized by the Minister may, to determine whether a traveller has a communicable disease or symptoms of one, use any screening technology authorized by the Minister that does not involve the entry into the traveller's body of any instrument or other foreign body.”

You might need to show proof you booked a hotel stay and than just cancel it.
