The last human

Anybody think about this? It's a ****ed up thought. There may not have necessarily been a "first" human, depending on what you believe, but there will almost certainly be a lone, last human alive at some point in the future. The only way this doesn't happen is if some apocalyptic catastrophe kills everybody at once. Or maybe if everyone transcends into some digital/cybernetic consciousness. Other than that, someone will be left alone to stare into the abyss of oblivion and eternity with no one to tell them it will be okay or that they are loved or anything like that. What a cruel fate awaits this person, whoever they are.

The last human will only be able to jerk off to memories.
