OK Grace in Boston...

I'm #12 in Y2J's "club"...and I'm scared.
This week on The Buff and the Beautiful: Colleen comes up with a new scheme to win over Carlos. But first she has to gain the trust of her captor.

Get a bowflex C6 for less than half the price then buy pelotons app. That's what my wife did. Only thing you can't do is their leaderboard competitions but she has access to all the recorded and live rides

I recently got a Keiser M3. It is high quality and quiet. After only using a concept 2 rower for cardio it was amazing to watch tv without subtitles or blowing my ear drums out with ear buds.
Riding is much easier than rowing and am often limited in rowing by my back before my legs. My form is not the best, but I think it is mainly from spending too much time standing during the day.

Wife had a generic spin bike with tablet using Pelotons app and eventually upgraded to a real Peloton. She spins as her main workout but I have a set of shoes and use it 2x a week or so for cardio.
I'd get the Peloton if you're SURE you'll use it enough to justify the higher cost. Otherwise get a generic bike with a tablet mount.
The extra features ARE very handy.
