Just had such a bad nightmare, I didn’t even want to sleep again (srs)

At first I kept having these weird dreams while half awake/sleep, this alone was bad. Then I had a dream in this state where I kept screaming out my brothers name for him to leave his room, instead I saw a dark figure walking towards me and in my dream I got so scared I literally died in my dream of fear, I cannot explain this sensation but WTF. It felt like I was literally DYING.

It felt so real, it legit felt like my heart stopped in the nightmare out of terror. I’ve never had a dream that made me physically Ill brahs

I ate alot before bed maybe that’s why? Anyone ever had this happen? Literally my dream gave me physical symptoms and feelings in real life
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"

It has happened to me twice, I binged then had an unusual nightmare. I noticed the correlation.
One nightmare was a husky dog killed by a car in the night.

So you had sleep paralysis and freaked out? The trick is to recognize it's sleep paralysis and just lay perfectly still and try and lower your heart rate. You'll eventually wake up.

Used to happen to me all the time, made it into a game to see how long it'd take to snap out of it. Hardly happens anymore, but came to enjoy the feeling. First few times were freaky af though.

I used to get sleep paralysis - I'd figure out what was happening and scream myself awake. Used to freak the missus out for sure!

Don't sweat it OP - I often find that most disturbing thing about bad dreams is the darkness that our consciousness can create for us more than the dream itself.
