Does gear actually make your facial bones grow?

Found a study that says that rats given gear grew larger facial bones, and in the high-dose group it was most enhanced in the jaw.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8297054/
Steroid therapy significantly increased all measures of the craniofacial complex (k = 20)--on the order of 3.5%-except some precocious calvarial dimensions. Importantly, significant alterations also occurred in facial morphology. The low-dose group exhibited proportionate increases in most craniofacial dimensions, but the high-dose produced overt shape changes, notably a maxillomandibular, anteroposterior jaw discrepancy due to maxillary excess. In sum, this anabolic steroid significantly altered facial growth in this animal model; by extension, steroid abuse by adolescent humans may produce discernible changes in their craniofacial complexes.
Also when people get very old they lose bone density and their facial bones shrink. It's been shown that gear increases bone density.

Yes it does. When I compare pictures of myself now after 5 years on gear to older photos from college days...like a different person. For example the distance lengthwise across my face at eye level is significantly wider today than it was years ago. My cheekbones seem to be thicker or perhaps there is just more muscle there. Living with supraphysiological hormone levels will absolutely change your appearance. I’m sure GH will do this also but I can’t afford all that.

I think many get the puffy cheeks, which makes the wrinkles.

nope,

your best bet is to make sure you're taking a physiological dose which is usually very small and almost insignificant for gaining muscle.
