I moved into a 215 sq ft apartment because it's cheap. On the first day I was unpacking boxes late at night and the neighbors banged on the wall, so I thought it was reasonable not to make too much noise at night. But they've started banging for the most random sht. Like I'll be walking from my desk to the bathroom and they'll start banging, or after opening a window and even one time after switching off a light. I actually screamed at them to fuk off through the wall one time and they complained to the landlord. I can't live my life like a mouse because my neighbors are sensitive sleepers. The weird thing is that these are not thin walls, I literally can't even hear neighbors on either side unless they slam something. The thing I hate is that now I'm constantly self-conscious about how much noise I'm making even though I don't want to be.
