Walked into elevator and saw one of my neighbors, hes a nice soft spoken ****lian guy I like him. He respectfully says "no mask?" (not like the feminazi crazy people just genuine question it seemed) and i told him Im not wearing a mask for the next 10 years and how the media over politicized the whole thing. He then says "I lost my aunty"
I felt bad at that point. I still wont be wearing a mask everywhere and still think its mostly bull**** what they were reporting but felt bad at the moment. Am I an ass? Told him im sorry for his loss. Maybe Ive just become an ******* and should work on it

No, you’re not an *******. It’s ok to feel empathy for those who have lost loved ones, but that doesn’t you mean you throw out the science and start wearing a mask as some sort solidarity statement.

This is one reason I don't even discuss it in person. Even though I've only heard through the grapevine from a friend of a friend that they had someone die from covid, you still never know. Gotta put politics aside and be a decent human first.

This is why I’d only say “I lost my mask, going to get more later.”
