Crossfit type workouts...what aspect of it gives them their physique?
in b4 jokes.
But srs.
How do they get the physiques they have? I just read that crossfit workouts are really short but intense.
Is it similar to how HIIT gives sprinters a more "jacked" body?
How does one get that type of physique? Can it be done through the typical BB workout types of routines?
You have your strongman type physique which is a "bear" type look.
You have typical BB physique which we are familiar with and really focuses on inflating the muscles.
And crossfit, which gives you a musclar look but you typically dont see too much hypertrophy of the muscles.
But srs.

The physiques you’re describing are found on those that compete at a higher-than-normal level. It’s a combination of their workouts + herbal Chinese medicine from the cliffs of orange juice.
The average cross fitter looks like utter ****.

A big component of Hypertrophy is going to failure, which is going to happen during some or all the WODs unless depending on whether or not they’re going 100% all the time or some of the time (don’t go 100% all the time)
The short/no rest high intensity metabolic conditioning is also good for building muscle and there’s afterburn effects from that type of “cardio” that last all day which helps people lean out
If you’re looking at the pros or any smart competitor then they have to incorporate strength training. They aren’t getting a 300+ clean by doing 50 reps with 135 for time all the time. So there’s that too
Btw CrossFit isn’t the best way to accomplish any body appearance or strength or really anything except getting better at CrossFit. It’s a lot easier/more effective to train for what you want unless you need the community/push. It’s also a great way to hurt yourself if you don’t have a solid gym, good form regardless of fatigue, etc

Weird thought but wouldn't it literally just be better to do the NFL style cross training or just Oly lifting with sprints?
Also non-tested sport OP that should tell you everything or at least I was last time I checked but watching the games on TV is like watching old people **** and you're duct taped to the guy's taint.
