Owner of two pit bulls that killed neighbor's three-year-old boy will not be charged
-Aziz Ahmed died after the two unregistered dogs broke into his backyard and attacked him and his mother in Carteret on March 16
-The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said investigators did not find 'intentional, knowing, or reckless criminal conduct' on the part of the dog owner
-There are no state laws in New Jersey specific for dog attacks and prosecutors have to find ways to prosecute pet owners under existing laws
-A vigil was held in the young boy's memory on Sunday where attendees called for lawmakers to pass 'Aziz's Law'

RIP little boy
It's a shame that such a worthless breed of animal is kept by some as "pets"
INB4 the "it's not the breed, it's the owner" crew.
What a load of crap.
Once again, #1 red tagged breed my ex worked with in 10 years at an animal hospital was what??

Here's my twist on the whole "not the breed" argument (diatribe inbound) ...
I've found that the problem is people have been shouting that for so long that they have begun to take that too literal, which leads to a false sense of your level of responsibility, i.e. - thinking you can raise a pitbull with the same reckless disregard as a yorkshire terrier, because, after all, it's whether the owner is loving, right?
My Rottweiler couldn't care less about a rabbit running through the yard, ducks, or squirrels. You know why? Because he's not a hunting breed and doesn't have that instinct. The English Springer Spaniel my parents had when I was growing up would chase geese at a campground we used to go to if he got off his leash.
I raised my Rottie with a firm hand and socialized the crap out of him from the time he was a puppy because I was honest about the breed. He is the nicest dog on earth and I know every owner says that, but I'd take that to my grave. He's a 123lb lap dog. If I'm not home, however, he will gruff at the door if the UPS guy drops off a package. He assumes it's now his responsibility to watch the house and guard my wife. On the flip side, if he's outside and UPS guy shows up, he wants to be everyone's friend because you're not on the other side of a door and he doesn't think you're trying to get in.
We have two labs next door. They are jackasses, plain and simple. They bark and growl at absolutely everyone and everything. When their owners walk by with them, they bark and carry on when they see my dog. Meanwhile my "dangerous" Rottie just lays there and stares and looks back at me, begging me to go make friends with his tail going a mile a minute.
So, if you've read this far: "it's not the breed, it's the owner" is half true and half false. No matter which side of the fence you're on, I'd ask you to just consider my anecdotal evidence and at a minimum just think about it. The breed and the owner are 100% to blame in this case, but I still don't think that makes the breed not a worthwhile pet.

Street justice is in order here.
Some low life loser (I know this cause he has pitbulls) lets his dogs eat my kid alive? I have nothing else to live for. Go handle business.

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

Jesus Christ. Didnt need to read that rhis morning.
Pit Bull owners are 99% garbage human beings. Every one of them should be put down. Something should be done about the dogs too.

They are dogs which means they can be trained well just like any other breed but they can snap at any minute. It's one thing if a terrier snaps and roughs you up a bit, a 100lb pit snapping is going to lead to severe damage if not death.

no one needs these monsters as a pet, its all front and being a thug and as stated the majority of owners are of a certain mindset and should be prosecuted as if they did the act ,that would see attitudes change

The problem with pit bulls is that half the people who own them are decent people and advocate for them and the other half are trash. The people who are nice friendly people don't typically raise them and let them just wander and so are incapable of knowing how destructive this breed can be in the wrong hands. The trashy people know exactly what they are capable of and get them for that reason. They use it almost as a means of intimidation and power. May the lord kill the trash. Breed of piss.

While you may be a good owner, with good intentions, having a dog is a huge responsibility, and all of them are not perfect/react/make mistakes.
The difference is, if the Pitbull reacts, it is going to maim or kill somebody.

But no idea what the fuk you are talking about. Sometimes we would let the chickens out to peck around the yard (grew up on 100acres). And if the Rottweilers got out during that time, blood feathers and mayhem. Those chickens get fukking murdered.

I always grew up with at least two Rottweilers. Extensively trained very good dogs would listen to my commands as a 6 year old etc...

A lot of these pitbull owners are not honest about their breed's inclinations. They think if they just show it the right amount of love it'll be different. No! You have to be honest about the the breed being aggressive and train against it. When you don't you get the typical sob story, "he has never done anything like this he's such a good dog, blah blah blah".

Was on my one wheel my husky the other day and I approach a guy with an aggressive ass pitbull.
He’s picking up his dogs poop as it’s struggling to get away from him, I approach and the dogs growling and tensed. He’s like “he’s friendly” yea fcking right, I’m ready to pick my dog up and kick that fuker in the face if he comes at us.
Pitbull owners don’t fcking understand they need to be socialized early. He’s friendly to the owner but not to other dogs or people. Wtf.
My friend took a 10 month pit in from her cousin who got it and kept it in the house all fcking day, never trained him or socialized him. I brought my dog with me to go on a walk with her once and I go to let them sniff each other and the fcking thing takes a chunk out of my pups coat. Not fcking with any pit bulls anymore.
