There's no such thing as a deadly disease where the average age of deaths is the same as overall life expectancy. For example life-long heavy smokers have a life expectancy about 14 years lower than average. If the average life expectancy for life-long heavy smokers was the exact same as non-smokers it could be said that smoking isn't deadly.
