Why are most personal trainers so awful?
I see so many guys join the gym and they will say to trainer I want to look like Chris Hemsworth from Thor or something.
Usually they are skinny fat dudes.
And the trainer will be like OK I've got just the plan, and it'll be like squats 3x a week and one upper body day and 5 sessions of HIIT
LMAO
I always see people who have had a personal trainer for like a year and they are always sweating and gasping getting trained and made barely any gains because of the chit tier routines.

Cause there’s no barrier to entry. Pay 600 for NASM very and then you’re in a “position of authority” for hot sloots that join gym and it’s a cake job. And most people are stupid af and can’t tell when a PT is full of chit.
Even if the requirements were deadlift 500 and do 10 pull-ups. That would weed out 80% of god awful trainers.

Personal training is a really attractive job for your average dude who lifts. Basically no barrier to entry (you’re not even technically required to have a certificate srs) and people over-inflate their lifting knowledge. Also they are ignorant to the fact that just because you yourself workout, doesn’t mean that you can teach and train others. There are SO many variables to training people. Lifestyle, history, goals etc. And most people who lift for 2-3 years and got some skinny fat gains think they can take all this into consideration and get great progress for their clients. Lmfao a joke. I love mogging personal trainers

They just have only one case sample,
their own experiences to show how it works to their customers.
The truth is.......

Like everything else in our lives.

because people hiring personal trainers are low ambition to begin with srs
had a couple close friends that were personal trainers, 2 who were very successful at it. 95 out of 100 people that go to a PT go to say they go, not to get better. With that in mind you as a pt have to come up with the easiest chit on the planet for them to do or they will get frustrated and quit. Knowing your clientele is the most important part of being a PT, not being muscular or knowing how to lift and diet. For the few 5 out of 100 that actually want to improve or fix something they'll eventually navigate their way towards a PT that knows their ****. Also fun fact, any pt worth a damn will have in their contract that you cannot sue them for not getting the results you want.
