Been trying to find this late 70's/80s song for 2 days

I'm trying to find a song from the late 70's/80s and have probably gone through over 800 songs from the late 70s/80s, still not found it. This is odd since it was a really popular song.

EDIT: This is what the main guitar sounds like:

Here's some clues:
- It's a normal band with drums, bass, guitar, singer.
- It says something like"and she runs and she runs... give it all back give it all back"(then the catchy guitar).
- It was about 135 BPM, a bit faster than the usual pop song.
- I thought it was Billy Idol because it's the same style as White Wedding, but it's not (checked his greatest hits).
- It sounds like it's from the 80s, but might be late 70s.
- It's got a really catchy guitar tune. A twangy acoustic guitar on the verses, then an electric lead on the main bits.
- It's not hard enough to be punk, I'd say it's rock or new wave.
- It's not in Rolling Stone Magazine "500 Greatest Songs Of All Time".

I'll try to add more clues if I can think of anything else.
