I feel bad for Euro/Aussie/asian kids that DON'T grow up in a nice American suburb

All the middle class kids live in homes like this (not even trolling here)

Rich kids live here

your public high school looks like this

you lift weights here (this is a real high school weight room srs)

play football here

sloots look like this:

100% ded fkn srs...growing up in the usa is so nice. cant imagine how much it would blow to grow up in europe where high school sports isnt a big deal and everyone lives in a tiny flat with no yard. I had never ridden a public bus or train until college srs.

i love being american

Growing up in the suburbs is the GOAT childhood.

At least back in the 1990s amd 2000s not sure about zoomers these days.

Playing outside with friends everyday after school, riding bikes. Then in the summer time we all go to our friends that lived on the Lake or had a pool and go swimming. It was the ****ing GOAT.

Just lol at people in England with their poverty houses/cities. Brb bedroom under stairs like Harry Potter. Just lol.

I grew up exactly like Shameless.

brb coming home from school and the power is shut off
brb police arresting the guy across the street every 3 months
brb my two childhood friends locked up for dealing drugs

I drove by the neighborhood about 2 months ago and saw one of the guys around the same age as me still walking around like it's 1998.

100% facts. Suburbs were the GOAT childhood. I like living in the city during my 20s but would've hated growing up here.

Lol at growing up in the city or the country.

My high school had a great culture too. There was no "jocks" and "nerds" and "cheerleader" girls.

everyone got along, some football players were nerds, some cheerleaders were ugly, some nerdy guys were popular since they were so smart etc

some people werent into all the dating/sex life/partying because they were religious and no one cared or judged

seriously was a great time, dont believe the movies about american high schools

Lived in the suburbs in childhood, absolutely hated it. City life in a luxury condo is goat. Gtfo with that middle class wage cuck ****. There's literally nothing to do in the suburbs and the only plus side is paying less for housing. Just lol.

Also lol @ still claiming usa is in the top 10 of best countries, nevermind first place, after decades of tumbling to mediocrity. Just look at all the blm, me too, mass shooting, lgbt **** you have. Just lol.

Graduated in '09. Perfect balance of social media. People were on ******** maybe an hour or two a day on PC's since not everyone had a smart phone. No such thing as snapchat, insta, tiktok, tinder, etc. Gotta be annoying as **** in high school with all that **** nowadays.

Right, some advantages of ruling the town. City people are at least 300% cooler than suburban people, after growing up.

my high school had probably 25 plus sporrts teams for boys and girls, multi million dollar facilities, brand new uniforms, thousands of people attending games etc

and like 50% of my school participated

and it was a public school

If you are talking about Aussies they are into sports in a major way, and have high performance /development academies all over the place. Thats why they do so well at the olympics.

Still can't beat the All Blacks though, most of whom grew up practicing in a cow paddock or a small village in the pacific islands.

My understanding is countries outside us is high school sports are for the truly elite kids training for Olympics or professional leagues and not really run by the high school itself

In the usa nearly every decent athletic kid can play in front of thousands with all their classmates cheering them on. Way better experience
