Well that's terrifying

This is a fuking safety issue. I have absolutely no problem with my pilot being a woman or a black person. The pilot on my most recent domestic flight was a black man with a Caribbean accent. He did a good job. Smooth flight. But when an airline makes a commitment to hiring at least 50% of one group, it will be virtually impossible for them to not lower their standards to meet this metric. That’s terrifying. WTF is wrong with this world!
