Just finished a 72 hours fast
Last meal I had was pizza and some chocolate dough thing Monday 18:00, now about to have me some bananas and some bone broth, then some lentil soup with meat after 1-2 hours. Might have some bread with it which I might regret anyway
What I drank: Water, water with lemon and pink h salt, black coffee and sparkled water
Anyone else tried fasting for 72+ hours? I feel like I could go on for tomorrow as well, maybe even 5 days, but I'm kind of bored by now
cheers
Edit: MONDAY, not Tuesday

Really only the first two days of fasting is a problem with hunger and even then it's only during your usual eating times.
People think not eating, you're constantly hungry but that is not the case. I also get bursts of energy, as you fast your body is pumping you full of adrenaline.
We evolved over thousands of years, to be able to survive in times without fast food or refrigeration, going long periods without eating. Our ancestors would have been right fuked if they immediately lost all their muscle or got too tired to move if they hadn't eaten in the past 8 hours. All that fat you store - it's meant to be used when you don't have access to food. Burn that chit off and get healthy in the process.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I'm not really a sweets guy myself, but I did eat a lot of chocolate and chips prior to this. Then Tuesday I just felt like I am not that hungry anymore and tried doing this for the first time. I trained legs lightly, as well as a quick upper body calisthenics routine outside, and walked a lot.
I did not think about keto, rather just about calories. Surely, I might have put myself in a good position for cutting a little bit now

Just have to be in a situation where you might not need to use that much energy.Really only the first two days of fasting is a problem with hunger and even then it's only during your usual eating times.

Surely our ancestors back then at least tried to save their energy here and there if no food was available - other than the actual hunt of course.
I imagine if you are addicted to caffeine, fasting might give you headaches and such (even if you consume it). I am not addicted, so I had zero headaches

Overall mood levels?
I’m trying to cut and I got like 3 months of dieting to go so want to drop a quick 5 pounds doing this too srs.
Also how is it 72 hours if your last meal was at Tuesday..
That’s 48 hours

Strong math bro
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

I have been fasting for 18+ hours a day for the last 6 weeks the first week was ehh but I've grown used to it big time, I dont eat till about 6:30pm after the gym (today is leg day) and my last meal is usually around 9 with a bowl of oatmeal. Feels good mane I'm feeling more lean everyday and muscles coming in nicely. Feels to have the gym again

As intrigued as I am by this thread, I can't get over the fact that you actually fasted for roughly 63 hours

No pictures, because I have no pre and this honestly was not planned at all. Did 24 hours, then said fuk it, I'll try 48, then after 48, I read up some super-science on 72 hours fasting, and said fuk it again and went for it.
Mood not bad at all. Maybe not that hyper, but oddly enough very calm, grounded and focused. Work (front of computer with clients) went fine.
