nothing smaller than a 20 mm can kill you or even hurt you

Seems pretty useless except maybe as a sideshow act. Even if you attempt to use it for personal gain such as robbing banks or leading a gang eventually they'll catch up with you and you'll rot in a prison cell bulletproof or not.

I wouldn't use it as some superpower to go join the army or fight crime. But as an insurance policy on the low likelihood event of being shot some day... ehh maybe a few hundred bucks
