Why are rentcels so mad at landchads (rentcucks stay out)

You’d think they’d be grateful to chad for giving them somewhere to live

But instead they come into every landchad thread spouting ignorance, intolerance and bitterness

Also something about bittercoins which I assume is some kind of currency for bitter people

It depends on your situation, for the average person on a standard wage who plans to live in the same place forever who doesn't understand investing or how to save money/budget properly property ownership is a good move.

see your mistake is you bought at the wrong time, you need to get a time machine and go back to early 1990s when the housing market crashed and buy your first house for peanuts, then pay off the mortgage , buy another one pay off that and then have loads of cash, and investments and a solid pension been built up

Couple of reasons:
-having the cash on hand (and making the seller aware you are a cash buyer) puts you in a more competitive position vis debtcels who make offers “subject to finance” or on long settlement terms. Sometimes they even accept a lower offer knowing it’s cash
-I would need to offer more security anyway because I buy old run down houses in premium locations, and it’s actually quite a lot of additional paperwork to get the bank to agree to me demolishing the house(s)
