A healthcare worker has quit his job on the frontline to become an OnlyFans content creator after the government announced a 1% pay rise for NHS workers.

James Cowe recorded himself addressing Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Thursday stating that he is an “online wh**e” now.

The 23-year-old donned a patchwork print shirt – for once, as his new job means he’s generally topless – and posted the clip on TikTok.

He declared that he had just quit his job of six years as a healthcare assistant to post cheeky snaps on OnlyFans.

The content sharing site allows creators to charge their followers a monthly fee for access to their videos, photos and messages.

And, within 22 days of starting his account, James had earned his annual salary and more.

Speaking to PinkNews about the 1% pay hike, James said: “With the pressure from the coronavirus pandemic causing all healthcare industries huge amounts of strain, I felt unappreciated and actually insulted.

“I am extremely grateful to OnlyFans as I feel this is potentially the start of a life-changing experience.

“After struggling with such low pay in healthcare, the future is now looking much brighter.”

The young lad started working in healthcare at just 18 when he was an assistant in his family’s dementia patient care home.

He moved on to another home which specialised in advanced dementia and end-of-life care.

James added: “Working as a healthcare assistant in this industry is extremely rewarding at times but also comes with very high pressure and responsibility.

“I worked a total of six years in the healthcare industry and I found the workload to be increasingly demanding and exhausting for very little pay at the end of the month.”

As James studied social media at Bournemouth and Poole College, he knows what he’s doing when it comes to pulling in views.

Over the last year he’s spent hours on his Instagram and OnlyFans pages hoping to become a “full-time influencer”.



He charges his subscribers $11.99 (£8.70) per month to access his raunchy content.

James now has almost 7,000 followers – meaning he’s in the top 0.7% of creators.

If each of his 7,000 subscribers pays the £8.70 fee then James will rake in over £60,000 a month!

He added: “The influencer industry is extremely competitive and I originally struggled to find a way to market myself.

“After discovering OnlyFans, I realised this is something I could do comfortably as I have a very supportive family.

“I made over a year’s salary in 22 days by OnlyFans.”

And, luckily, James’s friends and family all support him in his new career.

He claims he has received some death threats, but can cope with the messages due to his “thick skin”.
