Cops need to be carrying M9 Berettas

You have to manually slide that safety switch to fire, which helps them verify "yes, this is my pistol, I intend to kill this human being"

Glocks with no safety, are not only easily misfired, but could be mistaken for a Taser. People that keep saying "how could you mistake it?" Try and be in a super high stress situation, with several targets ready to attack you, and your muscle memory for BOTH the taser and glock is "pull out and squeeze trigger". With enough chaos, I could see the mistake happening.

Plus dat dere first action trigger pull is a biatch, so really ensures you are ready to fire that bad boy into a jogger. No playing around with that trigger squeeze

Plus M9s look better

A gun with a safety on it as about as good as a paperweight. Never carry with your safety on or have it unracked.

Not a cop but would never carry a gun with a safety. Glocks work 100 percent of the time with no malfunctions..

I carry a glock every day as my CCW.

Nonsense

You need to do more research. ADs would skyrocket.

Poor opinion. Poor proposition.

Change the shape of tasers.

There was a safety on the taser and no her firearm. It's not the same as the military. Lol

I have glocks and a 92FS (M9). Would choose a glock if I wanted an appliance gun that goes bang when you pull the trigger.

Buy my Beretta is what I have Janice hold to my head when we're bangin'.

No situation is the same. Some situations not having a manual safety probably saved a cop's life. It goes both ways. That being said I have a H&K P30L with a manual safety and i love it

I only fired a glock one time at the range. They say they are dependable, but so is just about any reputable manufacturers firearm in my experience. The glock felt like a brick in my hand. I have a Sig P226 in 9mm, but I conceal carry my Springfield xds in .45

Taser x2 and x26 which are both the most common and probably the only tasers carried by cops both have thumb safetys.

You can train to carry with a manual safety.
Was done for years and the military still does it.
