Has the world always been this clown?
Ever since the lockdown Im on this forum and the news more, all I see is nothing but tier 1 clownery (you know what Im talking about).
I can’t recall this happening in the 2000-2019 era

-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.
-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"

When the country literally shutdown over a flu like virus that virtually only kills fat boomers 80 and older, is when peak clown world was engaged.
Never thought in a million years I'd see such a thing.

No, society was relatively normal until around 2013-2014. All downhill since then.

America peaked in the late 90's. Since then, the internet and emerging technology is changing the economy and culture in unpredictable ways. The rules of the previous century are becoming increasingly irrelevant. We're being stretched too thin to really understand much of what is going on. Someone at the cutting edge of theoretical science has no sense of it's creative use in the open market. Global financial leaders are really just patching a sinking ship as fast as they can, as the game starts to wind up, producing mega billionaires and an economic nanny state so comfortable that people have become completely devoid of the desire to produce or achieve anything. Science has given us an answer to every hardship, justifying the belief that someone facing bad odds is better off not trying.
