Explain to me like i'm 12 why you would get the vaccine if you're young and healthy.

- Wear masks to protect yourself and prevent infecting others.
- Get vaccinated to give yourself the anti-bodies.
- Still required to wear masks on planes and gyms because even if vaccinated you can spread the virus.

There's no reason. The only half way legit reason to get the covid vaccine is so that you don't get it and give it to some old person (like your parents) who might not beat covid as easily as a young healthy person. But even the covid vaccine doesn't fully stop you from getting covid or spreading covid otherwise people who have the vaccine would be "allowed" to go no mask.

If you get covid, stay home and isolate. you can't give covid to someone if you aren't around them. once you beat it in 7-14 days like most normal people...go back to society and live your life. we all need to stand up to this idiocy.

That's my fuking point. If I was a basement dweller living with my parents, i get the vaccine, in theory that does absolutely nothing to protect them because i can still transmit the virus somehow? Fuk all the way off, seriously. It doesn't even make sense.

I hate when people ask me "so when are you getting the vaccine?" as if they're implying there's no choice.

I'm not anti vax, just not in any rush. Only incentive I see is if it lets me travel internationally again

This.

The only thing the vaccines have been proven to do so far is reduce severity of symptoms if you do get covid. None of them have been proven to keep you from getting it or spreading it which is why Fauci and crew are recommending you wear masks even if you get the vaccine. The amount of average white females in my IG feed acting like they are mother Theresa saving the world is astounding.

Same this is literally the reason I haven't gotten it. I got in fight with buddy who was nearly demanding I get it. I told him the reason I'm not is because you won't stfu. He continued to whine. Again I said stfu. He whined. I said what part about stfu and maybe I will do you not understand. After like 6 stfu's he finally stfu.

I'm pretty indifferent to it, but answer this question:

Do you believe that getting vaccinated decreases the probability that you'll infect others?

It seems obvious that the answer is yes, if you don't cough and sneeze to transmit it.

Now that particular benefit should be weighed up against the costs and risk.

Honestly I don't think there is a LOGICAL explanation as to why a person who is healthy , doesnt have co morbidities , & doesnt fall within the age range of the increased risk of dying would willingly get the vaccination...

Most "mask up" in their FB profile & check in when they are getting tested for the 37th time to virtue signal.


And slightly off topic but I get the LOLz every time I hear somebody say

Sure , there is a slight chance you could be asymptomatic but being on this ghey earth almost 40 years now I can pretty much tell you when I am sick and feel like $hit... and even at that point there is no need to wear a muzzle because when I feel like $hit I naturally want to cut myself off from the world even more than usual... I'm cfo of a healthcare company. I'm the only person at the corporate office who isn't fully vaccinated and I'm not allowed in our facilities until i get vaccinated. Got shot 1 last week.

You guys know all the healthcare workers in the world have taken the vaccine at this point, right? If the vaccine kills them or makes them go crazy or whatever you are afraid of, everyone is fuked anyway.
