Why do Americans feel so entitled to a "middle class" lifestyle?

It's easy to live on as little as $20,000/year if you move out to the country yet nobody does this.

Why?

Why would you move to the greatest country on earth with the most opportunities and try to live on 20k because you can....

Why do some people think the homeless should be able to set up tents in front of the business you pay 20k rent at? Entitlement.
