Why do people tolerate ads?

One of the worst aspects of capitalism TBH

Everywhere you go, everything you do you're surrounded by images, sounds, videos trying to steal your attention and you precious time.

All to get you to buy chit you will never use.

We only accept it because we're raised in this society from birth but if someone were raised ad-free they would think we're insane to allow these annoyances into our lives.

You only think this because you are used to it.

Imagine having to explain the concept of a billboard ad to an alien. It's really quite insane when you think about it.

I remember being a kid I used to go to the movies all the time. Before the movie was shown, before the previews, you always caught some kind of slideshow type of entertainment from the theater company. They had movie facts and cool stuff to read up on. They played classical music before it was show time.

I stopped going to the movies for a looong time. First movie I see in theaters, there's commercials instead of that pre-show entertainment. Yeah I don't see enough fukcing Progressive and Geico commercials as it is. Fukc off forever with that chit.
