Russia thinks WW3 will happen someday. Without realizing nobody wants to invade a country of PoorCels whose GDP is smaller than California and are cold as phuck. Anyway ignoring that point: Russia wants geographical barriers.

The geographical barriers of the old USSR were GOAT: Azerbaijan has great mountain barriers, the West Ukrainian Carpathians / foothills were another obstacle, as are those rivers and mountains south west of Odesa.


The only decent geographical barrier Russia can get is probably the Dnieper in Ukraine. So that might be their goal: grab everything on the east side of the Dnieper.

The West will sanction Russia if they invade Ukraine but that’s about it.

Sorry Ukraine but you are not that special.

Russia are getting more and more problematic. Biden is a pussy though.
