Indian Brahs is the COVID situation as bad as the media is making it out to be?

For any Indian brahs online or those with connections in India, my YouTube front page is filled with people dying from the 'Rona and makeshift cremations happening as hospitals run out of oxygen. It is really terrible seeing such suffering on a large scale. Is the situation that bad or is it worse?

I think the narrative is more that even with their filth/over population, covid didn't wrekt them the past year until now, so whatever that new strain is can potentially be more than just a flu. Once the india strain spreads it's back to lockdowns.

The population density in Mumbai is 32,000 people per square kilometer. That means every person in the entire city has a 5x6 space. Imagine that. They can't even social distance if everyone in the city was evenly spaced out.

I've heard from Indians before that it's so overpopulated there that even before covid people would die in the streets and they would just rot there until the garbage truck comes and they put them into the truck to be hauled away.

I have relatives back there and yeah it's pretty bad. I have lost couple of relatives to it but they had pre-existing conditions, right *******s? People are being burnt in the open since they can't get rid of the bodies quickly enough as they usually do. Hospitals ran out of oxygen so Dr;s are ignoring those older as they are seen as being gone.will die anyway.

I'm not Indian but I work with a guy from Sri Lanka and I work with a few people from India and one woman from Pakistan.

Pakistan you don't hear about but it's going wild in Pakistan. Everyone is catching it over there.

In India same chit. 3/4 of their population are rural dwelling. But when you have 1.4 billion people even if you live in rural areas you're still around people all the time. They don't have a good medical system there. All kinds of people are dying at home and then they do their traditional burials or don't bother reporting the deaths or there's no way of telling if it was a covid related death.
They are basically out of Oxygen tanks even in their rich cities like Mumbai. All the rich people fukked off on private jets.
And a lot of people don't believe in Covid or they think their rituals will heal them of Covid.

All in all just a chitshow of a country.

I was watching the news and some dudes rolled up to the hospital in a TUK TUK with some fat bish and it took four dudes to get her on to a stretcher and she nearly bounced of it onto the deck.

Then they go to another dude saying to a doc "Yo did you get my mom oxygen, how is she doing?" and the doc says "Sorry mane, she is dead".

They then go to another old dude in the back of a car on oxygen and he just looks at the camera and managed a "hnnnnng".

The thing is to stop the spread you need hygiene. Washing hands, alcohol etc... but instead you are more likely to see a dude taking a chit on the sidewalk whilst maintaining eye contact.

it is quite literally a chit show.

to some extent its a scare tactic (get your vaccinnneeee) cuz well India has lots of people so lots of deaths. People dont' think in percentages thats why the % arent' reported just the deaths.

I would be more curious how many people over there get it and survive.

I mean one only needs a basic understanding of how some Indians in certain parts of India live. And its an issue in both rural and urban areas. You can be born, live, and die without ever being in any 'system' in India. In the big cities its because there are just so many packed in a small area to where its chaos. In the rural parts its villages with no electricity.

It is what it is. Im sure there are at least 10s of thousands dead if not hundreds. I feel like if it were millions we'd know.
