Anyone else absolutely hate watching movies?

Srs. How the fuk can you sit there for 2-3 hours watching a movie?

I'll become uninterested and bored after the first 5 minutes if nothing catches my attention. I do enjoy a small amount of movies and movie genres, but I'll literally sit there for 10 minutes scrolling through movies on netflix/play store, reading the plot or watching the previews/ratings and almost always, it results in me being soo picky that I don't end up watching any movies at all and either turn to xbox, a tv series or just play on my phone.

I know soo many people in my life that are huge movie buffs and have watched hundreds, if not thousands of movies. Many people simply pick a completely random movie to watch, just for the sake of watching a movie. The very thought of that is exhausting to me. I literally have to prepare myself before watching a movie, because I know there's a huge possibility I'm going to HATE it and have to deal with the agony of watching the entire thing. Girls fukin hate on me for this all the time lol

99% of the time I dont retain anything from most movies anyway, and if someone were to ask me my favorite scene, I wouldn't even have an answer.

Tell me I'm not the only one like this, because it definitely feels like an unpopular opinion.

No good movies out. I’ll tell you what I used to enjoy. Going to Blockbuster. That’s when I actually watched movies.

i find it really hard to separate reality from fiction.

for example i find it hard to watch brad pitt movies or tom hanks or any big time celebrity as all i see is them and not their characters.

Depends on the movie. Sometimes I'll go to the cinema and spoil myself with a movie and a bunch of food.

Last movie that I paid attention to the whole way through was Tenet.

Feels.
A movie has to be really good to be worth my time. I would scroll through netflix etc and read all the stuff, go look at reviews and still be like **** me is this just going to be 2 hours of my time I'll get back? Then I just end up doing something else productive.

Only watches movies when with a girl cos it's a guaranteed smash crew

I don't hate watching them, just very few grab my attention.

Then to make it worse I watch almost all comic book movies just because I used to like Marvel cartoons back in the day.

So what little movies I do happen to watch all suck.
The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.

I can't just sit and watch TV or movies these days. If I have the TV on at all, I'm usually doing something else. There is literally nothing that has come out in the last few years that I'm remotely curious to check out.
I'm #12 in Y2J's "club"...and I'm scared.

Only films I get excited for are Bond flicks nowadays. Could care less about anything else unless it’s maybe a Halloween film (grew up on Michael Myers).
