Imagine marrying your friend’s daughter

Imagine you were 40+ and never married, with no kids. Your friend’s daughter who is 21 falls in love with you and wants to marry you. You feel the same way about her, but how would you explain this to your friend?

Or you could imagine that your friend wants to marry your adult daughter.

What would you do in either of these situations?

If he wanted a serious relationship with my sister and they were in love I'd be okay with that, but if he just banged my sister and used her as a fleshlight I don't know man. That's disrespectful. I wouldn't care if he banged my cousin but sister just feels too close to home

Oh, yeah, agreed. Just talking about in the context of what the thread is about. I have never had it personally happen to me and my family. But had friends in the scenario and others I knew. But like you said, if said friend was behaving in a way that seemed disrespectful, that should be addressed by any self respecting guy.

There's a part of human evolution that we are not attracted to people we grew up with. Apparently peopel are attracted to people with similar genes and brothers and sister that grew up apart are strongly attracted to each other. Honestly the ONLY way I can see this being even remotely acceptable would be if you somehow met the daughter before knowing she was your friends child, and she had no idea you were her father's friend. Then an innocent love could be born out of that, and upon discovery it could probably be glossed over since it wasn't pre-meditated.


Any other way though, and your friend will probably beat the absolute chit out of you for taking advantage of his daughter, no matter how it went down.

Hell even the first situation is still most likely going to get your ass completely beat. Don't really know how you'd meet a friend's daughter without knowing it was his daughter lol.
