How are there place still locked down? I’ve been in the gym without a mask all year. Also, sorry to say...but there will almost certainly be another wave/variant before the end of summer so I wouldn’t count on August 15th.

Your gym actually enforces time limits? We have hour reservations but it’s never enforced. Same with masks. I think I got told to put my mask up between sets once and the next day the guy who runs it had his around his chin.

My gym closed 5-6 weeks ago for 2 weeks and 2 weeks later was closed for 4 more weeks and about 2 weeks age it closed for an additional 2 weeks.

Gyms finally opened here in the UK few days ago, went to a puregym and you need to work out in designated spots with tape and you not allowed to go near others and the manager came running over to me to make me wear a mask. Told him to get to fuk and left, canceled membership and done a chargeback. May aswell keep working out at home from now on if this is the new normal.

Everyone in the gym looked miserable.

the feel when your gym has been locked down for 12/14 months in this chit excuse for a province, has been closed for 7 months since when it was last opened which would make it longer than the first lockdown, the feel when cases are still going up despite living in the most locked down city in North America and the feel when there is literally no end in sight and the stay-at-home orders are definitely going to extend into June so 2 + 2 + 2 more weeks bros at least.

Yes, that's what I have been dealing with. I too ended up going off in a huff. I said, I could do better elsewhere, even if it isn't as fancy ... oh boy. I went to some chit tier gym that was 'gusting af. When the plumbing broke in the ladies room they told me to use the men's showers. I mean what a joke. I think the boss of that place had a boner for me too because he came up to me and harassed me about footwear. I mean how much of a cot damn explanation do high heels actually need, it's a fukking shoe. I remember when I went back to go clean out my fancy gym locker at the fancy gym (after being away for a while) I had such a heavy heart. My basket ball, swim gear, a partridge in a pear tree ... all my fun parts of life extracted. Anyway, sunshine and fat puppies, bbq steak, pumpkins, **** I'm going back to my sweet ass gym!
