My apt went up to 900 a month

900 a month for a one bedroom apt. I felt like I was throwing away money at 800. Everything is high here though. I’ve never bought my own house and wouldn’t know where to start. I work 2 jobs though and make it in a week but feel I’m setting myself up for disaster. These places are wrong

$900 is nothing srs.

Back in 2016 before I started buying houses, my 1br, 640 sq ft apartment was $1600/month. That was 5 years ago.

Well darn. Jobs don’t pay much here although I got a raise at one to 20 and the other is paying us 17 so maybe I’ll survive

TFW over $1400/mo for me. But I'm in a 2 bedroom in a nicer area so that's probably why.

As long as it's below 25% of your monthly take home pay, then you're fine in my book.
