There were virtually no Asians in western countries up until 1980 or something. Only a few were ever brought in as railroad builders (and they were only doing the worst jobs like dynamite planting). Since there was a gender imbalance so most of them never reproduced. Most western countries blocked more of them coming in.

Really the only place that ever had a sizeable large Asian population was Hawaii.

It's weird how in just in the last 40 years Asians (esp Chinese) went from one of the least common ethnic groups to one of the most common. It's colonialization.

Only about 6.5% of the entire American population are Asian which includes East Asian, SE Asian, and South Asian (Indians and Pakistani)..... so yeah, ND has about 25 Asians living there now...

Asians are the fastest growing demographic in the U.S currently, even more so than Hispanics. It’s just that there is so little Asians compared to Hispanics at this time that nobody talks about it. Perhaps this will slow in the coming decades but if it doesn’t that is going to pose an even bigger problem for the American Right. As Asians will be more likely to take skilled jobs and they vote Democrat at about a 75% to 25% ratio while Hispanics it’s about 65% to 35% or 60% to 30%.

Considering all the recent Black on Asian attacks happening, I think it's safe to assume that Asians will reconsider voting for Democrats considering how Democrats constantly portray the Black community as infallible and eternal victims, and they throw Asians under the bus (example, college admissions).
