-everyone finally realizing how stupid poor people are anyway
-plenty of educated & family-oriented women at work to settle down with when ready
-dollar holding strong even after all this socialism pandemic bullshiit
-assets prices soaring probably retire before 40
-technology only going to continue to improve quality of life

How does one measure if a civilization is at its peak? If we’re better on paper than ever before but suicides and depression are up, are we really better?

Are people who can get Uber Eats happier than those who used to hunt with sticks?

We're still making advancements in certain fields. The inventor of the original mass produced Lithium battery John Goodenough made an EVEN BETTER battery at age 96 or something in 2019. But what happens if he dies? What if there's no replacement for him?

Likewise we still seem to be getting ground on CPU and GPU technology. But there are no more big generational leaps. Generational leaps? Think Nintendo Classic to N64 was INCREDIBLE. As was Dreamcast console compared to say Xbox or Xbox 360. We just don't see leaps like that anymore. I can play a 15 year old PC game and the graphics don't scare me off that much.

But are we getting better in agriculture, space travel, etc? Doesn't seem like it. And if we did somehow improve in agriculture all the African / Indian would just 10x their population again and nullify those tech gains. So you're probably doing the earth a disservice by making agriculture better. Likewise any so called cheap lab meat would probably make obesity worse in the 3rd world.

Peak civilization would imply that we can only go down from here and I think that's FAR from the case

Just wait until we have robots/AI producing so much value that money and mundane work mostly become obsolete in the developed world (srs)
