Girl I was seeing had a masters in bio and I was making more than her when I was bagging groceries.

Many skilled laborers make great salaries with benefits and job security, especially if they are in a union. There are also highly educated people with degrees that are not very marketable. It's not very difficult to get into college, and it's not always the best option. We don't need an entire generation that's saddled with student loan debt and increasingly inflated degrees.

If you work an honest job and provide then you should be proud. It could be working fast food, a trade, or in an office. Being able to provide is something to be proud of, exploiting honest working people for profits is not something to be proud of. Looking down on other people for working hard is something to be ashamed of.

If you're happy with who you are, you don't really feel the need to look down on other people.
