100% agreed. college degree is a dime a dozen nowadays. Even students with engineering degrees struggle to find jobs nowadays. your degree is just a checkmark/prerequisite on a job application. The "everyone has to go to college" mentality is from retarded boomers who push their kids into student loans they will spend the rest of their life paying off. the amount of young grads working part time at starbucks and service jobs is astonishing.

News flash for tradies:

According to the BLS, the average salary of a person with a Bachelor's is$27,500higher than a person with a high school education. The unemployment rate for college graduates is 3.7% compared to 6.7% for the general population.

most college graduates are NOT tradies. The thread raises some good points. "everyone needs to go to college" has not been a good trend.
