reddit admits to being racist against whites and sexist against men. Did you see the screenshot? Their rule number 1 for the entire site was amended to not specifically say exactly that, but they still adhere to it.

Even if their system is better than the misc, which it is.

Man I can't stand reddit. Always a lot of sick chit every time I load it. Always some sort of politics, race baiting, marketing, and unfunny memes. Often times some really disturbing chit that gets pushed to the top. I'm not a Republican or a Democrat, but I can't stand the smug liberal attitude on that site while also promoting really sick chit.

I prefer misc because it feels real and organic, and it's pretty damn funny the crazy chit that gets posted. Also it's specifically about lifting. It's not some big corporate machine or hivemind, it's just real people. I definitely don't agree with everything that gets posted, but that's real life. I don't live in some perfectly manicured bubble where everyone thinks the same.

I actually feel motivated to lift more and improve myself. If I just scroll random popular chit on a big internet media site then it doesn't do my mind or my life any favors. It's just like an endless nightmare scroll of outrage bait and smug self-satisfaction. Maybe I am just too old for that chit.
