anyone try mood stabilizers (lithium carbonate)? (srs)

so i've been on an ssri (anti-depressant) for about 4 weeks.
overall, i feel a bit better.

however, lithium carbonate is a much simpler molecule than prozac (fluoxetine) so it intrigues me as being more "organic" or a healthier alternative for long term use. the molecule is so small it seems almost comparable to taking magnesium supplement. not sure why lithium needs a prescription whereas magnesium or iron tabs don't tbh.

also here's a pic of testosterone being even larger than both before someone starts talking chit about using pharmacology

also since Nardil maxxing is a meme atm, here is nardil vs amphetamine. similar structure but obviously extremely different results in the way both drugs work. just chit posting nardil vs amthamine to rustle some jimmies but Nardil does NOT have similar effects to amphetamine

I thought lithium had a likelihood of causing permanent tics, srs?

I'm on fluoxetine 20mg. Have been for 11 years. Currently I'm trying to cut back on it until I can get off completely.

I've recently learned that I can't join Air Force Reserves unless I've been off it for 2 years with a doctor's note.

I took lithium for a while, but the working dosage was so high (800-1000mg iirc) that it started screwing with my kidneys. No sides otherwise tho

that sounds sketch,
yeah it sucks the military still discriminates against pharmacology usage. Probably why half of enlisted guys in the military have drinking problems and use tobacco at a higher rate than the general public.

thanks for stating that. I was being arrogant, but that makes sense as to why it's a controlled by a prescription. the effective dosage for mental performance is a bit higher than what is safe for the body is able to process.
