Only 4.. although a lot of countries where it is technically illegal don't give af about enforcement.

It's legal here to carry, grow, and share. Mushrooms are also legal.

I don't smoke or do any drugs myself. I used to smoke a ton of bud when I lived in an illegal area. The main reason it's illegal in the US is to arrest minorities and political dissidents. It has been pretty effective for those purposes, but I think maybe half the country has legalized it now.

Yeah not long before it's legal federally in the US. I wonder how it works once you pass the law and make it legal. Does everyone who got in trouble for it get their record clean? I mean technically it was illegal at the time you committed the crime but I would say you have a strong case.

That's what they've done in some places. A few places have had protests when they legalize it but don't release the offenders.
