Woman left DISTRAUGHT as taxi driver fat shames her (PIC)

- 29 y/o Kyer Hoskin suffers with a binge-eating disorder
- Kyer, who is a size 28, was about to jump into taxi when she claims the driver "looked her up and down" and suggested she travel in a larger car
- She explained: "I approached the first taxi in the queue and asked him if he took card. He was umming and aahing about the wifi on his phone and said 'it might not work when we get there so please make sure you have cash' but nobody carries cash at the moment because of covid"
- "Then he looked me up and down and as I was about to get into the back of the cab he said 'don't you think you might need a bigger one like that one over there?' (pointing to a large van)
- Kyer, who has a binge-eating disorder, blasted people's "ignorance" towards bigger people and said "thoughtless" comments could end up triggering some to eat even more
- "There's a reason for why I'm big, I suffer from a binge-eating disorder and a lot of people are too dumb to understand that" explained Kyler "The week prior to this I was nearly knocked off my moped by someone shouting 'lard arse! get off your moped'
- "It's not my size that's the problem, it's the ignorance of people that's the problem"
- Kyer reported the taxi driver and an investigation is pending

It's a real disorder and that's why groups like Overeaters Anonymous exist. It's usually triggered by eating foods with sugar and white flour. The people get the dopamine hit and can't stop eating. That's why OA talks about abstinence from those foods to avoid binges. I don't necessarily agree with their approach as I think sugar/sweets should be allowed every now and then.

But they would just stop by the bakery and grab baked foods to binge on to deal with stress and other feelings.
