I'm thinking about going to Church this Sunday for the first time in 6 years. Is it a good hobby?

If it keeps you out of trouble and fulfills your religious needs then it's a great idea.

I wouldn't call it a hobby however...Unless you actually enjoy going.

What do you have to lose? Maybe an hour in your week? Go for it and see where it goes.

Easy to make friends by going to a bible study afterwards or later in the week with a small group of like 8 people.

Think the best part of church is it’s a place to be part of a community. Also a place where any sincere person is always welcome. Think it’s also a good place for a lost and lonely person to find meaning (drug addicted prostitute would be welcome with open arms). Church is good, make sure it hasn’t been infiltrated.

Good to get a decent church girl. You need to have genuine faith though. My only tip is to keep it surface level, just believe, even though you question stuff, but don't get into it hardcore, or you'll become either an insane fundie, or leave the church. Its like alcohol, some is good, too much is bad.

I remember you're the one who licked hookers. Just go there, give your soul to jesus, and then just go for an hour or two every week or fortnight.

Church to me is a personal decision so if you want to start going do it. I don’t go as frequently as I’d like but I normally do feel a sense of peace and calm after going and I’m not hard core religious
