Have any of you miscers ever did a reset in life?

Meaning, really pared down material possessions and focused on a healthy hobby or new lifestyle? I'm early 40s, just got out of a long term live-in gf relationship (6 years), and feel like I need a reset.

What kind of things did you change?

That kind of radical change only happens in movies and chick flicks. youre better off trying to make small changes that will actually last

Yes but I was 26... Had a lot more energy and less time invested in all the things I left behind than a 40 year old. You can do it though op I be leaf in you.

Left a desk job to start a business in pet care. After a year and becoming pretty successful quickly I gave up drinking because I was happy enough that I didn't need to self medicate every weekend anymore. Getting sober made me realize my relationship of many years sucked and after a few weeks of being clean I dumped her. One of the best periods of my life srs.

My divorce was a total life reset.

It definitely pared down my possessions!
