Had a 4.7 earthquake tonight

In the last 48 hours we have had three over 3.0

Wonder if a bigger one is coming. I remember the last big ones here in 94 and 08

Stay safe. Sounds like what was going on before I lived through the 7.1 Hector Mine quake.

I was three.

My porcelain dolls all feel off the shelf and broke, and I hopped out the window and broke the screen. I was on the first story. Mom came out in her pink robe and pjs and my dad was pissed that I broke the screen and I got the belt so bad lol he was like the house wasn’t falling down wtf were you thinking

Don't you live in Northern Nevada if I remember correctly? I'm in Reno and haven't felt a single one so far.

think the ones in southern Cali are worse. The early 90’s one in Northridge messed my grandmas house up pretty bad

What happened to you in 99?

Do a bunch of lesser quakes indicate a big one coming? Or do a bunch of lesser quakes help reduce the risk of a big one?

I’d think the latter because stresses are being released in the multiple lesser quakes right, rather than building up and coming out as a big one? Kinda like how nofap + celery = drowning whereas fapping regularly and not consuming celery would lead to more consistent releases and much lower chance of drowning.

It's pretty scary brah. Heres a breakdown on the Chirstchurch earthquake deaths-

'The earthquake struck at lunchtime, when many people were on the city streets. More than 130 people lost their lives in the collapse of the Canterbury Television and Pyne Gould Corporation buildings. Falling bricks and masonry killed another 11 people, while eight died in two city buses that were crushed by crumbling walls. Rock cliffs collapsed in the Sumner and Redcliffs area, and boulders tumbled down the Port Hills, with five people killed by falling rocks.'

falling buildings, falling overpasses/bridges/crap falling, they can cause fires. No ocean here so we won’t get a tsunami.

Oh here they have caused avalanches and rock slides

Cell reception and internet got slow for like an hour here tonight lol so my Netflix died
