Income tax return

Anyone else still waiting on theirs? It's been three months and two letter later telling us they need 60 more days to review, is my tour over?

Just checked on the IRS website and it says it's set to deposit today.

Apr 29th Accepted by IRS

If your return is simple enough, turbotax is fine, but I swear that software fcks stuff up on purpose as soon as you have asset sales and anything remotely complicated.

My buddy did his tax return on turbotax and was disappointed by the result, so he sent it to a CPA and his taxes dropped $8k

Of course its likely user error.. but just sayin

I did turbo tax...was worth it...claimed some deductions for the year that I didnt know I could after asking the turbo tax live help...doubled my return...feelsgoodman.

well CPA's have their own channels of contact/phone numbers they use to talk to an actual person at the IRS that knows what theyre doing. So they would be able to tell you whats taking so long.

But Turbotax doesnt give you that avenue so youll have to use the pleb automated line that inevitable leads to you being hung up on by a robot with nothing answered.

Have you gotten it yet, though? I believe part of the hold up is the child tax credit thingy.
