Why do people worship Elon Musk?

Why do people worship Elon Musk and deny humanity is destroying the planet?

They worship the guy that's supposedly building the Ark that will preserve humanity after we destroy ourselves but deny global warming.

Is it the money?

Definitely don't worship the guy, but his entrepreneurship and innovative ability is commendable. He has a great team of people that deserve appreciation as well.

It'd be hard to cite everything accomplished in one post. You'd have to be an insecure and uneducated miscer to deny his success.

Agreed. Loling bad at the SNL lady tweeting about his net worth as a reason to not have him on the show. So people with millions and millions of dollars hosting the show is cool but once you tick into the tres commas club you're evil. Spare me.

I'm definitely uneducated and possibly insecure but his accomplishments play out like a trailer park resident who won a billion dollars.

It's impressive that he skipped right over buying fighter jets but that's millions vs billions.
Seems like a "nice" guy but it's my poverty opinion that he's completely off his rocker.
And yes I started this thread to bash Elon, I know he's only the man as long as he's making money.
He hasn't actually done anything too crazy yet besides Kanye for president and saying lots of people will die getting to Mars, I'm genuinely excited to see how this turns out.

One of the richest and most successful people on the planet and spacex/tesla are undeniably cool companies/technologies. He also seemingly does things most CEO's wouldn't do like smoke a joint on JRE and go on SNL and post about Dogecoin and ****. He's just a sorta unique person and it's pretty clear why many people look up him or wish they could work for his companies. Even if you don't personally care for him it's a no brainer why someone in his position would be well liked.

Realistically, Elon is advancing humanity more than most other humans ever have. "Most other" isn't even a good way to describe it, he's advancing humanity more than most humans I'm aware of. There's a slightly higher appeal to him because he doesn't bend the knee to media as easily as other powerful people as well. The combination of those two make him very popular.

Elaborate? Electricity can come from burning coal, but it can also come from: wind turbines, paddles collecting the kinetic energy of the waves, solar panels, water turbines, nuclear plants etc etc etc

The mining of cobalt that's required to build a Tesla battery is bad for the environment, but it sure beats drilling deserts and oceans and then burning that chit. Plus a more eco battery is bound to be released sooner or later.

You nailed it Sword.

Although, "a lot" is almost an understatement. Advancing global internet alone is one of the biggest steps in evolution we can make. If humans could pick 10 events that define human evolution, controlling fire would be one of the 10, and global internet would also be one of the 10.

Reusable rockets and advancement in space travel is also gigantic.

Changing the auto industry with electric vehicles is also huge.

Advancing neuro-link, chips in brains is possible another one of the 10 big events (if it happens in his lifetime).


He's at the helm of companies that are reshaping everything we know about life, I'm glad he's leading that charge. Others have done it too. Gates and the Windows platform has probably saved a billion human lives and advanced us as well.
