Supplement to Reduce Cortisol/Relieve Adrenal Fatigue
As title says - looking at products right now to help with overtraining and see if anyone has success taking anything from supp stores with semi decent results.
Thanks!
Thanks!

For me personally the best was to simply back off a bit of my training schedule, everything comes back nicely in a few days/weeks.
Increasing protein to 1.5g/lb helps me purely anecdotally.
Post workouts do decrease soreness and speed up recovery.
I did not notice any effects, good or bad, from any cortisol lowering or adrenal support supplements.

Someone said upping protein to 1.5g per I assume lean pound. I used to be a 1g/lbw or less guy and take in 100-120g daily but on a lark increased it to 180-200 and, to no surprise, recovered faster and put on more lean weight.

I'm going to try GABA and Magnesium myself.

Unfortunately, it didn't look at higher fat but realistically high, like 30-50g, something I might actually do in a single meal. So who knows, knowing this though I do take mine away from heavy high fat meals.
I was a little surprised by this, fats often help in absorption of many minerals. And they may still, it might just be that a stupid amount stop helping and actually hurt. Who knows. Again, wish the study looked at a normal but high level of fats.
GABA helps with anxiety, no idea if it helps with cortisol directly. Some sleep aids sneak some in, so might check what else you're taking to make sure you aren't doubling there. I would recommend taking it slowly -- initially, too much at once (for me 2g or pills) got me all tingly in a rather unpleasant way, didn't need to be rushed to the ER or anything dramatic, just I tend to take one at a time and wait if I feel like relaxing GABA-style these days.

The problem is it's just destroying my mood/energy/motivation right now and wanted to throw somethin in the mix to speed up the process. I'm probably gonna try and grab something from the supp store.

The Ash product you mentioned popped up on google earlier, looks to be one of the good ones.
I'm also on 2-3 iso100 shakes a day right now - 2 scoops each.
