Anyone on here really health conscious about food?
While I know this site has pretty much become a blend of hotornot.com and pumping the latest crypto meme, there are still quite a few in here who workout consistently. But I feel like very few pay attention to what they are eating outside of calories and macros.
Who else pays attention to ingredients? I will rarely eat something if the ingredients can't be found in a typical household pantry. Grass fed, antibiotic free, organic whenever possible within reason.
I'm triggered because some girl I know recently got into fitness and while she lost a ton of weight and looks good, all she posts everyday are these chit protein bars that are full of sugar and chemicals and she claims she is "healthy".

I don't have the cleanest diet but i try my best. during the week i'm pretty strict (Greek yogurt and fruit and granola for breakfast, turkey sando for lunch, and grilled chick/rice/veggies for dinner) but during the week i have a couple cheat meals. trainer says its ok because i'm trying to put on some mass.

Not really, I frequently eat kodiak pancakes, anabolic french toast, protein pasta, protein powder, Quest protein bars and chips... and I look fuking hot broski.
I don't care about the "healthy" grass fed, free reange, blah blah... nope.
Chicken, broccoli, and rice not even once.

No ace K, no HFCS, I avoid lots of other artificial sweeteners, and try to get organic produce depending on the food item.

I did have borderline high total cholesterol a couple years back and the doctor told me to cut back on high fat foods. So I cut back a bit on fat content and the next year I was fine.

Anyway, to get back on track. I like to think I eat fairly healthy, and I think I do 80% of the time. Mostly home cooked from basic ingredients with a good mix of veggies, protein, and whole grains. But I tend to eat a little too much in general. Then on the weekends I always make sourdough pancakes and bread (it's tradition, kids expect it now) and live it up. So, the end product is I'm in my low 40's, exercise quite a bit, and maintain 210-215 at probably high teens bodyfat eating mostly what I want. I like to play basketball, and I'm better at around 200 lb. But I look decent where I am because I lift, too.

Use to be die hard about it
Gave my self one day a week to eat whatever I wanted. The other 6 was all about business
