Does anyone here wear western boots?

I'm not trying to be country or anything like that, but I recently bought a pair of genuine Rattlesnake Boots. I think they'll look pretty killer paired with some black denim. Going for a rocker/metalhead kind of look. Sorta Lemmy Kilmister if you know what I mean.

I wear cowboy boots to bed, because it makes me feel like Dusty Rhodes when combined with my underwear.

I don't wear them but when I see a nice pair I'm really impressed for some reason. I like the crocodile skin (real obvsly) ones best but snakeskin is cool too. Be cool if your get a cobra hood markings on the back side of the boot.

I do for winter time. Not into western style otherwise but I like the boots.

My girl loves them also for some strange reason. She keeps trying to convenience me to get some ostrich skin ones that cost like $500 but that's nogo for me.

Bonus for manlets. It gives you like 3" of height.

I think Caiman is pretty cool but it's not my taste personally. That's why I went for Rattlesnake.

Dude I'm surprised PETA doesn't go ham on these boot companies they make boots out of some wild stuff. Ostrich, Caiman, Python, Rattlesnake, even Elephant and Stingray.

I have a pair of all black roper boots that I wear from time to time. Usually I’ll wear them with a pair of black Levi’s and a black or white t-shirt.

On mobile so can only add one quote. Yes my boots are cowhide leather. I wear western shirts frequently and have 3 cowboy hats.

I've seen boots like that in person. Mexicans love wearing boots like that, or with pointed toes that stick out over a foot, crazy stuff.

I didn't get pointed toes I think those are ugly. I just got the basic rounded toe profile on mine.

wow...my post relates to this but the hood would look so much better on the backside of the boots...that said doubt this is real/wearable as the necks would break ummm like ...ummm....an hour into wearing them.

How long do the soles last? Srs
I read that the soles deteriorate pretty quickly.
I'll probably pick up a pair of ranchers in the future. The brand I have my eye on makes long lasting stuff.

Yep, I've seen Mexicans wearing those many times. Usually not quite that long but I've definitely seen more than a couple wearing those

Can’t pair it with too many western themed clothes cause then you look like Woody out of Toy Story. Either a western shirt or plain button up, or the hat. Not both, but intend to mostly wear these with my black Levi’s or perhaps a really dark blue denim. A nice black leather belt and maybe a plain shirt or perhaps a leather vest or something

Exactly, That's the thing people go to western when they try to wear them I agree you gotta be more subtle and casual and kinda down play them a bit. I prefer to wear sneakers ( flip flops ) or loafers ( dress shoes ) I feel like it looks more appropriate since I don't live in texas or work on a farm. I could see how boots could be sort of a going out shoe though SRS.

IMO the vest is over the top. And you gotta keep the jeans as plain as possible. No extra pockets or chit. And if you're gonna go with a hat, you gotta figure out which crease and brim works best with your head.

You’re probably right I’ll stick to a nice fitted t shirt and plain Levi’s with a nice cut for my body shape.

AHH OP you mean like cowboy boots. nope. our father always wore there. most all the men in our family where my other father came from did. i use to hate thgem when he would buy them and make us wear them. had to stuff them with news paper and as you walked down the hall at school would get cracked on and jokes thrown. cause rthey were loud as ****.

no one in my family ever wore any of that fancy dan chit like you posted a pic of. just a reg pair of brown cowboy boots.

nothing wrong with em if you like them. its just a childhood thing for me i guess
