What are your personal goals for 2021?
Reflecting on how 2020 went, I got a couple of financial goals done... paid off all debts, started investing, however that's about all I did. I remember having some career/certification goals, some life goals, but COVID was a direct hindrance to some of that, and I thereafter started actually using COVID as an excuse to go through the day to day comfortable, not doing anything extra.
I'm turning 26 this year, feel ahead of most folks my age with career/finance, and when it comes to maintaining fitness, although as a human adult I feel inadequate, lacking adventures, experiences, lacking skills that you might expect an average adult to possess, lacking a diversity of non-media/gaming hobbies.
By 2022, I'd like to reflect on my 2021 with having done the following:
- Learn how to operate and maintain a firearm (getting licenses for it and such)
- Read a book for the first time in like a freakin' decade, specifically want my first book to be "Name of the Wind". Try to get this to be a habit, going from fiction -> non-fiction -> fiction and so on.
- Acquire a useful certification in my career industry
- Learn to properly shave with a DE razor and accessories (always been an electric razor guy)

Lots of reflecting. Learning. Growing saving, raising my son. Get back to a daily routine of healthy living. Cardio, floor work, roadwork, . Join gym again..
Pretty much stabilizing. Positive thoughts

we're 5 months in mate, so maybe 2022 ask the question a bit earlier
never have goals based on the manmade concept of years, always seeking to develop and maintain myself physically, economically and socially and look after my family and take the ups and downs as they come

Short Term (next couple months and hopefully not too bad):
-get first real job
-move out
-get shredded for the first time since starting lifting
-get leg unbroke
Longer Term/Harder:
-4 plate dip
-3 plate chinup/1 arm chinup
-play Clair de Lune in full
-get back into dating
-guitar? (kinda stalled right now, may need to buy a book/wait to afford a teacher)
-start regularly writing music in some form
Feels good to lay this stuff out.
