Good. Inflation is good for the middle class so long as pay increases at the rate of inflation.

Inflation is great for the rich and chit for the poor. Middle class survives but it's still bad for them.
The way our policy is structured right now, inflation is a wet dream for the rich, great for the poor, and fukcing horrible for the middle class.

The middle class has inflation resistant assets (house, car, education, job, tax-exempt/deferred retirement accounts)
They also have debt(fixed-rate mortgage, car loan, student loans)
Inflation destroys the debt and leaves the assets behind.

Middle class people tend to save the most. They get absolutely fooked in a system with low interest rates and high inflation.

The middle class takes on consumer debt that produces NOTHING. Your house or car may raise in price with inflation, but it still becomes difficult to when you need to buy back in, for example, if you want to purchase a new car, or need to pay a tradie to fix your porch.
The rich takes on income generating debt in the form of business loans, investments on margin or leverge, and so on. The rich also uses significantly less of their capital for consumption. A rich man can only drive so many cars and eat so many cheeseburgers, so they only need to keep 1-10% of their capital liquid for spending, whereas a middle class individual might have to spend up to 70 or 80% of their income on debt, utilities, groceries, state fees, transportation, insurance, etc.
Furthermore, in a socialist state, politicians will constantly be giving handouts to the poor, leading to an increase in taxes. Who pays the taxes? The ones who produce goods and services, so all the rich people. Businesses raise prices to offset costs, poor people have more money to spend, and the middle class gets taxed either through inflation and/or raised prices.
