Striped Bass Brahs GTFIH
Any other brahs out there on the east coast looking for the first stripers of the season?
Caught a 12” the other day. No luck this weekend. Hoping it’s a good season. Last year was none too impressive but I caught 9 in total between June and October. Looking to do better this year.
Savage Sand Eels at Bass Pro/Cabela are solid lures, FWIW.

Strong bump of piss.
Hearing that 30+ inchers are making their way into the northeastern waters.

If any brahs have recommendations for boots to wear upon the rocky shores, please advise.
Also, LOL just LOL if you aren’t squidmaxxing. If you are fishing bait, seems like squid are like crack to these little b*stards.

Three trips this season, and two striped bass caught. No keepers yet.
My friends/brothers have also caught several. I would say that this season is more promising than last year around here so far.
There are some fat bass to be had it would seem, but most of my fishing spots are smaller inlets or brackish rivers where the real cows don’t seem to hang out. Any brahs have tips on fishing specifically for 30+ inchers?
Also, strong feels when pondering the beauty and ferocity of these majestic predatory fish. They’re bad ass creatures.
