Game features:
-Build a powerful city, large armies, and eventually an empire
-Join the Roman Empire - attack other players, loot their resources, kill their citizens, destroy their buildings, and most importantly of all rustle their jimmies.
-Support other Romans by organizing and linking your cities together, expand the empire’s zone of influence by attacking other players, and intimidate our enemies to help us grow and conquer others.
-This game does not require you to grind 24/7, play smart and coordinate strategies with Roma.
-It is never too late to join!

The Roman Empire’s General Strategy

To new players: Don’t worry and stay active! You will be able to join the empire if you’re not able to get in on the first day.
Remember to do the following:
1. Go into the Discord chat and ask any tribune or praetor if there is space in their lordship for you, or create a
temporary one to organize your hamlets.
2. Stay active; we are always making new lordships to open up slots for new players.
Positioning
The game will give you your first position, but it is not always optimal, especially because betas will try attacking you for being in their “zone of influence.” Normal players will generally respect your position, let us know if some virgin has issues with your presence, we’ll take care of it for you. We will cluster our cities together so we aren’t spread out too thin.

Attacking, Defending, sending Support and Resources
We have players in all time zones who will coordinate attacks and support.
If anyone dares attack one of our members, we will respond from bases in 3 different continents.
Even if we are thousands of miles away from you, we will get there eventually. Despite the distance, we can still overwhelm the enemy once we get where we need to go.

Quick Guide for New Players
-Come into the Discord chat and ask for help whenever you need it (whether that be resources, game advice, or anything else).
-Follow the tutorial for tokens, if it is relatively easy for you to do (it is optional)
-Build housing like no tomorrow in order to expand.
-The best way to make money is to buy low and sell high on the market, or sell raw resources (like wood) to the guild.
-Attack neighbors to plunder or weaken them, or even subjugate them. You can use your character/toon to attack, and your units (workers representative of your city’s population) to loot resources.
