Women-only gym accused of 'segregation' after banning men from memberships

Men accuse women-only gym of 'segregation' after Hooters waitress shares clip showing its darkened windows, free period products, and warnings signs when male staff are working

Said it was 'the best gym' as she felt 'so safe and comfortable' working out as it has no male members, darkened windows, and signs when men will be working
Thousands of women said they'd love to join and exercise in female-only spaces
But men accused the gym of 'discrimination' and said that they were going to sue

There used to be women’s gyms around. They all went out of business.

The novelty of this will wear off and they’ll be back to attention whoring at a normal gym in 2 months

They turned the one I've been going to since I was 14 into one of those.
Worst part is you can't have men's only gyms. I'd love to go to one, but it'd spark an outrage if they existed.

What gym are people going to where women there feel harassed and threatened by their male counterparts? I mean, it may actually happen and I'm just not seeing it, but I've been working out consistently for almost 18 years, multiple gym memberships. I've seen men and women on staff, patrons being big men, big women, small men, small women, fit men, fit women, out of shape men, out of shape women, etc. All just doing their thing, minding their own business or chit chatting, and working out. Unless you're getting called out for the instagram bullchit, I just don't get it.

Likely just seeing what they want to see. Also a lot of people are desperate to be included as a victim these days so even if there's nothing at all they'll just make chit up.

I don't see anything wrong with this. It's a private enterprise, they can do whatever they want.
Lots of women don't work out in gyms because they are self conscious, mostly the fatties.

Now when I think about it, it's a win-win-win because the fatties are removed from sight, regular gyms still have regular cardio bunnies, and more fatties are working out which results in less total fatties in the long run.

Imagine if someone started demanding a public blow job from you right in the middle of the gym. And you hadn't said a word to him. That only happened once, but he was a professor. There've been numerous times when men have gotten in my face aggressively, and angry demanding this or that when I'm not deserving of it. Also creeper pictures are a bit creepy when the guy does nothing to hide that he's taking pictures. I mean I've been filmed on the treadmill.
I tend to not even notice these things because I had a much rougher childhood than most women, but I imagine for the average woman the gym is a scary place.

Yeah that's pretty illegal. There's a Chad of a college professor who goes around suing businesses and colleges for discriminating against men since many universities established women only gym hours. They were forced to either remove that or offer male only gym hours as well, as Stanford did after being sued.
